When you’re out, at the restaurant, choose to eat “à la carte” and avoid going for the “open buffet”. By doing so, it would be easier for you to control the quantity of food consumed.
Substitute drinkable calories (soft drinks and fruit juices) with pieces of lemon or orange or pineapple soaked in water, to which you add the same amount of soda water.
If you feel a strong desire for a sweet taste, take a fruity herbal tea with a slice of orange and mint.
Pay attention to your bodily signs. If you feel a sudden hunger in the afternoon, try taking a short nap. You may just want to sleep!!
Don’t forget the proteins! An adequate serving of proteins can help you feel real satiated.
