Since I have received several questions after yesterday’s article on whether to peel or not to peel fruits and vegetables, I wished to share with you today the following two lists drawn up by the concerned international agencies:
1- The list of 15 fruits and vegetables that are the most contaminated by pesticides (The Clean Fifteen)
Onion, Cabbage, Pineapple, Corn, Eggplant, Peas, Avocado, Rock-melon, Grapefruit, Mushrooms, Kiwi, Asparagus, Mango, Sweet potato, Papaya
2- The list of 12 fruits and vegetables that are the least contaminated by pesticides (The Dirty Dozen)
Apple, Celery, Grapes, Peaches, Blueberries, Potato, Spinach, Nectarine, Capsicum, Strawberry, Lettuce, Cucumber
