Have you ever thought that working early, that is before 10 am, could be harmful to your health? This is what was just proven by Dr. Paul Kelley, a senior researcher at the University of Oxford. This bit of news was published on Le Figaro on September 14th. In fact, Dr. Kelley claims that the human body, before the age of 55, is not suitable to work too early in the morning. In addition, and irrespective of the type of work performed – mechanical, digital, agricultural or military – awakening early, or too early, in the morning would make many of us aggressive. This is now scientifically proven as per Dr. Kelly.
Indeed, Dr. Kelley has proven that forcing people to work before 10 am would be identical to a “torture” session. This would make employees feel “sick, exhausted and stressed”. According to him, and scientifically speaking, people aged under 55 have only one circadian cycle (a biological rhythm of approximately 24 hours). Thus, a forced early morning work could also cause anxiety, frustration, weight gain, high blood pressure and stress.
