I must admit, dear friends, that yogurt is one of my favorite foods whether in its natural form (whole or skimmed) and I don’t mind taking some of it every day. Therefore, it is desirable for people who are able to consume it, to do so for several reasons among which are the following…
– It helps lose weight: Being delicious, nutritious and low in calories, yogurt is one of the snacks to prefer. The proteins it contains provide us with a lasting feeling of satiety, and this prevents us from nibbling uselessly. So say goodbye to excess weight.
– It protects our bones: This is an excellent source of calcium which is very well assimilated by our body. In addition, such bioavailability is enhanced by the presence of proteins and phosphorus.
– It helps improve digestion: Lactic bacteria that are present in yogurt are very beneficial for the health of the intestine since they are used to digest lactose (milk sugar) and to reduce intestinal inflammations.
– It helps prevent type 2 diabetes: In fact, several studies have proven the effectiveness of yogurt in the prevention of type 2 diabetes. This is due to the presence of calcium, magnesium, and certain fatty acids. As such, yogurt becomes a food that can limit the occurrence of type 2 diabetes.
